Description
The eSign Retail App is being updated to meet the latest Google Play Store requirements.
Also the requirement for the minimum version of Android and iOS needed to run the eSign Retail App is changed.
The Android app will be updated to target Android 16 (API level 36), while there will be still support for older devices running Android 14 and above.
For iOS, the minimum supported version will be iOS 16.
These changes ensure continued compliance with platform requirements and allow Scrive to maintain and provide future updates for supported devices.
Impact
The minimum supported versions of Android and iOS required for using the eSign Retail App will be updated as follows:
Android: Devices running Android 14 or above will continue to be supported.
iOS: Devices must run iOS 16 or above to be supported. Devices running older iOS versions will no longer be supported by the updated Retail App.
Devices that do not meet these minimum requirements may be unable to install or use future versions of the eSign Retail App and will not receive future app updates. Scrive is not offering Support for devices that are not meeting the minimum requirements.
Recommendation
For Android devices
If you are running devices for the eSign Retail App with Android 14 or above, no changes are required. It is enough to update the Retail App when the new version becomes available.
If you are running devices with Android 13 or below, you must upgrade to Android 14 or above, provided your device supports it, to continue using future versions of the Retail App.
For Apple devices
If you are running devices with an iOS version below 15, upgrade to iOS 16 or above, provided your device supports it. If your device cannot run a supported iOS version, you may need to replace it with a compatible device to continue using future versions of the Retail App.
